The Riviera Beach Community Development Corporation (CDC), Riviera Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) and others have partnered with the City of Riviera Beach Reentry Center in a new neighborhood revitalization effort called Neighborhood RECLAIM. The partnership’s first project will be the rehabilitation of a home at 950 West 1st Street in Riviera Beach, that will be sold to a low-income, first-time homebuyer.
The residence tour was held on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. and was attended by officials from the Florida Department of Corrections, U.S. Department of Justice, Palm Beach County Department of Public Safety, the City of Riviera Beach Reentry Program, Riviera Beach CDC and CRA, and Urban Farmers. At this convening, officials will describe the unique program’s purpose, goals, and initial action plan.
Lead by the Riviera Beach CDC, this community reintegration and affordable housing effort is a pioneering program for the area.
