Transforming Places by Expanding Green SpacesThe Linear Park and Health Trail beautifies the area with shade trees and flowers, and improves safety with the installation of lights and a paved pathway. This project improved sewer service to 35+ homes, and transformed an unattractive utility easement into an attractive asset for the Riviera Beach Heights residents. It provides safe passage for children walking to and from West Riviera Elementary School. Exercise equipment was installed to assist residents with their health and fitness goals.
Pocket Parks
At the NE corner of Australian Avenue and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard, an attractive pocket park replaces a distressed and vacant property. The new gateway Pocket Park makes the area appealing for future housing development and calms traffic at the intersection.
